Comfort Suites Downtown Orlando, Orlando

Basic room fit for a night stay after a concert. Nothing too spectacular but enough to crash. I'm generally not a picky person but the sheets were really stiff but if that's the only thing to even mildy complain about, the room served it's purpose.

Liked: Fairly close to venue.
Disliked: Sheets were pretty starchy.

Disliked: 1. I came in at 1 am the door was closed had to knock more than once to get the person there. Not a big issue specially at that time, not a problem can understand.2. Was offered 4th floor room, when I got there the hallway super hot. Room Was also very hot. Carpet was wet, seems it was cleaned but still wet, not good if the room was hot and humid. Went and told the girl at the desk(she was very nice), said she understood and that the AC would be be fixed. Turned the AC all the way to 60 degrees room was cool not cold.Sat came and went AC not fixed. Had to leave the AC on all day close the curtains so the room would keep cool.Hallway got progressively, went down stairs again on and let the kid know what was going on, no results, this was during the Memorial day weekend, was told now one was in the property to even look to see what was going on, no manager til Monday May 27th.Left early in May before leaving spoke to the girl in the front desk. Was told we would recieve a discount, she said she would send the email, because her MANAGER had to close the system. Today is May 28 still no email not even a call.I hope don't get charged the extra day and I hope I will get a discount, I usually do not complain, but this is ridiculous.The breakfast was not that great, the bacon was super under cooked, not that great at all.

Liked: This is one of best hotels I stayed at in a long time. It was comfortable, clean, and the breakfast was good. Staff was pleasant, and went beyond to help you as best as possible
Disliked: I wish it was more in the city, but the location was quiet.

Liked: Breakfast was good, well stocked, plenty of tables available. I didnt have the opportunity to visit the pool, but it looked good.
Disliked: The bathroom in our room had only cool water to bathe with.... no hot water, The sink faucet is not situated correctly, one barely has enough room to put hands under the sink faucet and wash hands... this needs to be corrected... and our last day, we had planned on checking out really early. We were on 5th floor, their were no carry-out carts for anyone to use. My husband, 80 , me 74, not going to carry our luggage to our car, the person behind the front desk, offered us an office chair to put our things onto the chair and roll out.. it worked, but we had to make 3 trips.... really.... this is totally 100% uncalled for in your large hotel... probably will not spend the night again in here.....
