Poor accommodation in the Mile...
Liked: The breakfast area was well stocked. It had to be!
Disliked: During my stay, front desk staff were frequently absent—not only from the counter but also from the adjacent office. On numerous occasions as I passed through the lobby, no staff members were present. To be fair, when I did encounter staff, they were courteous and welcoming. However, on two separate attempts to reach the front desk via the in-room phone, my calls went unanswered—including a second attempt made five minutes later. I eventually went downstairs from the third floor, only to find the desk still unattended. When an attendant finally appeared, I asked why my calls weren’t answered. He explained that he had other responsibilities away from the desk. In my view, as the primary point of contact for guests, front desk personnel should remain present or ensure coverage at all times. My room was not up to standards I'd expect from Comfort Suites. The desk chair was in poor shape—its faux leather upholstery torn and peeling across both the seat and back. The walls were marked with visible dirt and numerous unrepaired pockmarks, suggesting long-standing neglect. While less critical due to being on the third floor, I was surprised to find no privacy curtain behind the right-side drapes, leaving the window partially exposed.During the morning of my checkout, I observed serious security oversights that allowed non-guests unrestricted access to hotel amenities. For over three hours, both the interior and exterior doors to the pool’s mechanical room were left open, creating a clear passage into the pool and breakfast areas. As a result, I watched two individuals—who did not appear to be guests—enter freely. One helped himself to breakfast, while the other filled a large bag with multiple plates of food and packaged items before exiting the same way they came. This lack of basic access control reflects a concerning disregard for guest safety, facility integrity, and proper oversight.

Not great.
Liked: Location was great for our needs
Disliked: We stayed over Memorial Day weekend, and they planned a required carpet cleaning for the entire hotel for that Sunday. Any other Sunday would have been fine as most guests would have checked out, but with it being a 3 day weekend it was awful timing. Also even though we had do not disturb signs up, they still came into the rooms to vacuum the day before in preparation for the carpet cleaning but didn’t give us any advanced notices that they would be vacuuming. We had just put our kid down for a nap so it ruined our afternoon. Lastly, the elevator was down Monday so we had to haul all our bags down multiple flights and my father-in-law had to rebook a room to the first floor since he couldn’t handle doing that many flights of stairs.
