Comfort Suites Clearwater - Dunedin

Location for the venue we were attending is why I choose this Comfort Inn and that was a plus. The first person we felt with was very friendly and nice. But after that it went down hill. Hot showers are a must and shouldn’t be an issue because someone installed it backwards and apparently she knew this information and the room shouldn’t be booked with electrical and hot water issues to anyone no matter the price .. and for 169.00 a night I expect a fully functioning room, and not be treated as if I am an inconvenience to her.

Liked: The Front desk .. He was so kind and made us feel welcome.
Disliked: The shower didn’t have hot water and over half the lights didn’t work, and outlets were rerouted through extension cords. We asked for a room transfer and the male that greeted us had left and the female that came made us feel that we were ignorant for not knowing that the cold and hot were backwards on the shower and for not knowing that the coffee maker had to be plugged into the extension cords and not the wall receptacle that didn’t work and why was it a problem because half the room didn’t have lights that were in working order.. This is why.. I paid 165.00 a night and I shouldn’t have to guess that half the room didn’t have lights and the extension cords that was hidden was the plug to make coffee.. I expect at least hot water and I am on a trip and don’t need to figure out why..

Hotel was clean and very clean. Right across the street from the water; lovely view.

Liked: Good location. Close to the TD Ball Park.
Disliked: Nothing.

The staff was very nice. The hotel was a perfect spot to get to downtown and to get to the pier and beach. I would stay again and recommend as a good hotel to stay at if I was asked. For the price it was OK for two queens. The beds were comfortable and it was a clean hotel overall. The gulf was across the street so we had a nice view of the water. Overall good hotel.

Disliked: I didn't like the smell in the corridors. They used some kind of cleaner or odor that was very unpleasant. We had to hold our breath every time going from elevator to room

Liked: It was pleasant to be there with my family over night. first time visiting Clearwater Beach.Wanderful view from the room to the sea.Very quite area ,we went around the neighborhood walking and it is a very nice place.The location of the hotel is very well to go anywhere ,downtown Clearwater, Clearwater Beach. Restaurants and more.The staff very kind .thanks for the great services.
Disliked: Some guess walking around the hall making noise during the night and we have a little kid .

Wonderful Stay

Liked: Easy check-in and the manager upgraded my room because of noisy neighbors. When the TV wouldn't function, Wendy the desk clerk came to the room and fixed it.
