Liked: Spacious and comfortable

Most expensive dive you’ll ever...

Liked: To be honest. Nothing. A run down, neglected dive stuck in the 80’s. This place has no redeeming features. This is a $50 a night motel at best.
Disliked: Run down. Dirty floor in our room. Broken cabinet. Broken air con box, mould in the shower. Rude, passive aggressive staff. Booked this hotel for the pool. Pool was closed. No explanation given. Breakfast was very basic. Plastic cutlery, paper plates and cups. What a waste of resources! The worst $400 per night hotel I’ve ever had the displeasure of staying in.

Overall a good stay…

Liked: Good location
Disliked: The pool looked DISGUSTING with stuff floating on top of it. There was no chance of letting my kids get into that pool! We picked this hotel bc it had a pool and we couldn’t even use it. The pull out couch bed was all bars and springs…need to get a new mattress.

Very high priced for poor...

Liked: It was close to the airport.
Disliked: We stayed here twice during our vacation. The front desk was not happy to greet us and couldn’t share any information about the area. They did not make eye contact and they did not smile. I needed to do laundry on the second stay and only one washer of 2 worked so it took twice as long. The dryers did not fully dry clothes after a complete cycle. On the second stay we were placed in the room by the ice machine. I asked if the hotel was full and she said no. You shouldn’t use this room unless if is the only one left because hikers get up early and disturb you with the ice. She didn’t see this as a problem. The desk staff needs training. Also while doing laundry I had to go upstairs to use the restroom because staff locked the lobby restrooms.

Close to airport with van...

Liked: Breakfast was good and staff excellent. Clean and variety of food

Liked: Large room. Convenient airport shuttle - 5 minutes away

Solid But Pricey in Anchorage

Liked: It is very convenient to the airport. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast bar was better than average. The room wasn't exceptional but better than average overall
Disliked: It may largely be the summer anchorage market but the price for a relatively average hotel room was surprising. There were a few maintenance issues like ice machine on our floor wasn't working. Commode seat needed tightened. But nothing major.

Worse customer service i have...

Liked: Total dissapointment from the staff attituude & lack of proper customer service.
Disliked: Totla lack of custome support.The attitude of the staff was highly disappointing. We arrived to the premises quite late at night and as we were supposed to come back for another night, in 2 days, we asked the staff to store our luggages. We were astonished to learn that the hotel refuses to store the luggages, while stating that this is the management policy. while asking to speak with a manger, we faced a total push-back.
