Disappointing

Liked: The location was ok.
Disliked: The rooms were not very clean, the air did not cool at all, the elevators smelled. Unfortunately we could not find another room or hotel so we were stuck there!

Liked: The breakfast is always great. There was a slight issue with the charges on our credit card, which Ike, the manager, fixed very quickly. Delmer, the maintenance man, is always friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Even though we asked that no housekeeping be done while we were there, we still received (twice!) a notice slid under our door that felt threatening: The note said they had twice attempted to clean our room; they would try again tomorrow, and if they were again unsuccessful, they reserved the right to call us and even enter the room! I wondered whether they had found a dead body in one of the rooms and were trying to make sure that didn't happen again.

Liked: The late night reception lady, the cleanliness of room, breakfast, and comfort of beds. Nearby Seven Bends State Park!

Pleasant

Liked: It was convenient and the bed was comfortable.
Disliked: The floor of the room was pretty dirty—trash under the bed and nightstand. That’s a big deal to me. I might not have noticed if I hadn’t dropped something.
