Comfort Inn West Valley - Salt Lake City South

It was great. Our motel was right next to the venue!

Liked: Very nice.

Our stay was so fun - we had a one king size bed room and it was so comfortable! This was a weekend for my husband's birthday so some of our friends came and hung out in our room with us. We made a trip down to the swimming pool and the hot tub and had an amazing time. The Maverick Center is so close we walked there for our hockey game - it took us about 3 minutes at most. We had several choices of restaurants surrounding us. Wiseguys Comedy Club was right by us also. It was great being able to walk where ever we wanted/needed to go. Thanks again staff at Baymount!

Overall had a good stay. It was walking distance from the Maverik Center which was a plus.

Disliked: Could not open windows in pool area.

The shower faucet leaked really...

Liked: Beds were actually very comfortable. Friendly front desk. Not an issue for me, but rooms are not cleaned while you stay without requesting it. Breakfast was good with a lot of options. The location was great, and only saw a few obviously homeless who were hanging out outside. Front desk reception doors locked (access card to open) in the AM which I appreciated.
Disliked: Lots of mold and dust visible in vents, overhead fan and AC unit. It was hot so I had to run the AC, so I placed a towel over it to filter. Had to take Benadryl because I got stuffed up almost immediately. Under staffed but friendly front desk and I had to go down to get enough towels for the 4 people staying in room. Saw a few obviously homeless who were hanging out outside.

Pleasant

Liked: The beds were comfortable and the shower had great water pressure.
Disliked: Pool was closed for maintenance for multiple hours, then once it was open they were out of pool towels. The sign was posted on the door hours before it was closed and towels were never restocked. It was NOT busy so not sure why no towels were available.The floors in the lobby and elevator were disgusting.Staff was mediocre on Thursday and Friday, seemed annoyed they had to be there. The lady from Saturday was nice!
