Comfort Inn Syosset-Long Island

Very easy to get into and settled. Nice rooms; decent location; super friendly staff! Would visit again :)

Disliked: No A/C unit like some other hotels so it was very quiet. If you need a fan to sleep, I'd bring one.

Clean lobby; good location; quiet; problem with parking; broken TV.

Liked: Clean room.
Disliked: Television broken.

Great location to stay when...

Liked: The room was clean and the staff was nice. The TV remote wasn't working at first and they were quick to offer a staff person to our room but I fixed it myself. We stay here when visiting family because of the location. They also have free parking and free breakfast. (Which we didn't have due to time issues.)
Disliked: The bed was not very comfortable and the pillows were TERRIBLE! Didn't get a good night's sleep. Also, not sure what our room was facing, but there were garbage trucks at 4am picking up dumpsters of glass and other noisy things. Quite disturbing, although I will admit that isn't the Hotel's fault, LOL!

Beware of new management policy!!!

Liked: We paid in advance, or so we thought. The money had already come out of my checking acct. Got there only to find out we had to pay, AGAIN. Not sure of the reason, but they said we would get the original payment refunded in 7-10 days. It's been 7 days, so far nothing. They are under new management and this is a new policy. If you are traveling on a budget , beware. In all the years of traveling I have never once encountered this. Stayed at this location twice last year and did not run into this. There was nothing on the website indicating this policy. We will be staying elsewhere on our return back from FL.

Comfortable , affordable stay

Liked: Comfortable bed; good location; very clean
Disliked: Heating in room was inconsistent . Breakfast station did not offer yogurt any more. Coffee during the day was not available after breakfast

Liked: I STAYED HERE A FEW TIME OVER THE PASSED FEW YEARS AND IT IS TOTALLY DIFFRENT! NOT COMING BACK
Disliked: I RENTED A CAR AND HAD MY TIRES SLASHED!!!

Disliked: Breakfast was awful. The rooms have very thin walls, and are too close together. You can hear everything from several rooms. I would never stay here again -- and would encourage others tos stay anywhere else.
