Comfort Inn & Suites

From the moment I walked into my room I was choking on stale cigarette smell. I double checked that it was in fact a non smoking room, but everything smelled of it. There were also several ashtrays in the room, which should be pointless in a NON smoking room. When I got home and emptied my overnight bags, my clothes just reeked of cigarettes.

Liked: Location; nice remodel.
Disliked: Non-smoking" room reeked of cigarettes and there were ashtrays in my room; no towels in the bathroom.

Liked: Clean room; friendly and helpful staff.

My stay

Liked: The beds were nice and comfy breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly
Disliked: Only thing I had a problem with is the pool kept closing I booked my stay so my kids could swim and they kept shutting it down because the they didn’t have towels for people I didn’t mind it but others did so because they kept complaining they just kept shutting it down but it was nice for the most part other than that

Disliked: They wouldn't check us in we called and told them the time we was gonna be their and when we arrived the don't desk clerk said she couldn't check us in she did night audit and marked us as no show and we called and she said she was waiting but she lied

Disliked: The front desk clerk acts like she was only there for a paycheck. Kids were fighting/play boxing in the pool and chased everyone aout and when the issue was brought to the front desk all she said was well I can ask the maintenance man to ask them to calm down but I cant do anything else. Everyone had to leave the pool and our experience was ruined because the main hotel clerk acted like it was not her problem and someone else should fix the problem. The clerk also said the maintenance man would come and he never did. I will never stay at this hotel again when we come in from out of town.
