The stay was fine. But...

Liked: Overall the stay was good. The bed was so comfy and the pool was nice and not too deep to where my stepdaughter and I couldn’t enjoy it. It was very clean also which is a huge must have when we travel!
Disliked: There are a few issues we had. First, when we got there we got told our double queen room we had booked TWO WEEKS ago was not available so they upgraded us to a king with a pull out bed for my stepdaughter which overall was fine. The issue was I did not find this out until we made it there which was at 12 Friday night! They said they called me but didn’t get an answer and in my opinion they should’ve emailed me until they got an answer. I don’t answer unknow numbers. Secondly, Saturday morning they come around to get towels to wash that was fine but when I went to the front to ask for towels they didn’t want to give us any and “claimed” once they washed the towels we gave them that they would bring them back. Like huh!? I’ve never been to a hotel where they don’t give you towels until they wash yours. I understand with it being packed they may have been backed up on towels but they could’ve just told us that once they got a load out to come back to get atleast 1. I really just think they need better management during the day or something. We just found it rude.

Liked: Convenience to a funeral I attend.
Disliked: Property is old and worn. There was torn carpet in the hallways, damage to walls in my room and bathroom vanity was chipped and old. AC in my room struggled to keep the room cool and the tv did not provide many channels. Internet was extremely slow.

Liked: It was clean. The staff were wonderful.
Disliked: The bed was fairly uncomfortable.

Liked: Close to food
Disliked: That the TV didn’t work and they knew about it prior to renting the room out. We packed all our stuff in and laid on the bed to relax turned the tv on and it stayed on for a total of 1 minute and then it went black. Went and got the desk clerk and asked her if it happened before and she said yes. She unplugged cords and plugged them back in, turned it back on and same thing. You pay for a room and expect things to work. Check the tv out in room 116 before you carry your things in. They didn’t offer a discount.
