Enjoyed stay. Went to Burl's Creek to see The Hip. $38 cab ride to venue - would have appreciated a shuttle or a much lower rate for a taxi!

Liked: Friendly staff; excellent location.
Disliked: Smoking room "block" was very smelly.

Disliked: There was security all over the place. Did not feel safe. The gym had stuff all over the floors, I believe from kids that were in there prior making a mess. The room was very humid and muggy. The hallway to the outside smelled like urine.

Disliked: Due to a flight change we had to skip one night. There was not even a try to make the cancellation of one night possible. We had to pay full. Excuse was , it was booked via booking.com. No chance.

Disliked: Had to call front deck multiple times because kids from other floors were running up and down our halls banging and kicking doors and taking the luggage trolley tossing into people's doors. No one from front desk showed up at all

Liked: We arrived to the Hotel around 9:30pm after flying in from the UK. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and very accommodating. I was though a bit put off by the $150.00 security deposit. We are always hesitant now to book a hotel after a bad experience at a hotel in August of 2024. Sometimes what is on a website ie photos is not at all what the hotel looks like. But the hotel has done some nice renovations and the breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: The next morning, when we were going to have some breakfast I dropped our keys to the front desk but I got the impression the man behind the desk wished he were someplace else.
