Comfort Inn & Suites Statesville - Mooresville

We stay here every time we come to the Dixie Draft Horse Sale at the Iredell County Fairgrounds. We enjoyed the stay with the breakfast buffet, a clean, spacious room and comfy bed. Thank you. We will return!

Disliked: Ac didn’t cool and you charged me $80 to move to a different room when the first room wouldn’t lock. My husband and I always stayed here but no more

We are hesitant to ever...

Disliked: We found bedbugs in our room. Reported incident to hotel front desk, provided them with pictures, and one of the bugs. They promised the manager would call and our funds would be refunded. It has been 4 days and we have not heard from the manager and no credit has been made to our account. We have stayed at this particular location on multiple occasions without incident. We are very disappointed with the lack of response from the manager and very disgusted with the entire situation.

Convenient location off of I77...

Disliked: Getting things to the room, especially on upper floors. Need more carts at the front of the building.

Liked: Pet Friendly, Breakfast was not bad.
Disliked: Facility was not well kept, the room smelled like an old sock. Even though they made me sign an understanding that the whole facility was smoke-free……we don’t smoke, our entire hall way smelled like an ashtray.The carpet in our room was disgusting. Obviously they use the same rooms for all guests with pets, about an hour in, I started sneezing and getting watery eyes, figured it out, I’m allergic to cats and the room must have not been cleaned properly. The hotel should consider designated rooms for cats and dogs. The front desk staff was totally oblivious to the guests, stood at the desk twice waiting while the attendant watched their iPad. Won’t EVER stay at this place again, strongly encourage anyone considering a stay in Statesville NOT to stay at the Comfort Inn!
