Comfort Inn & Suites Statesville - Mooresville

We stay here every time we come to the Dixie Draft Horse Sale at the Iredell County Fairgrounds. We enjoyed the stay with the breakfast buffet, a clean, spacious room and comfy bed. Thank you. We will return!

Terrible! Couldn’t wait to leave.

Liked: Pet Friendly, Breakfast was not bad.
Disliked: Facility was not well kept, the room smelled like an old sock. Even though they made me sign an understanding that the whole facility was smoke-free……we don’t smoke, our entire hall way smelled like an ashtray.The carpet in our room was disgusting. Obviously they use the same rooms for all guests with pets, about an hour in, I started sneezing and getting watery eyes, figured it out, I’m allergic to cats and the room must have not been cleaned properly. The hotel should consider designated rooms for cats and dogs. The front desk staff was totally oblivious to the guests, stood at the desk twice waiting while the attendant watched their iPad. Won’t EVER stay at this place again, strongly encourage anyone considering a stay in Statesville NOT to stay at the Comfort Inn!

Disliked: Breakfast did not offer enough healthy selections, noise from highway made it difficult to sleep, bed uncomfortable

Liked: Staff was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: This hotel needs a serious makeover. I've stayed in Comfort Inn's before and this one, in comparison, was terrible. Hard bed, shower curtain doesn't fit, A/C has only one setting (on/off), TV channel guides were very difficult to navigate (guide was scattered through 5 different channels.). Towels need upgrading. I could go on and on.

Disliked: Very outdated. Bathroom was awful. Smelled of smoke in hallway of second floor and pot in hallway of third floor.

A non-smokers worst fear

Liked: Close to highway.
Disliked: Is this the last smoking hotel in America? The place smelled very strongly of smoke especially in our room Our fridge vibrated all night with no way to stop it. We would have called the front desk but it was late and we were beat

Disliked: Pool was dirty. Saw roaches in room. Tub had no shower curtain. Breakfast wasn't that great.

The Best Hotel in North...

Liked: I wasn’t able to experience Breakfast. I was so tired and exhausted from everything that happened in the week prior to my visit due to me losing my grandmother who had raised me me as her daughter. So my husband an 4 children were able to suggest that I should go an have some time to myself and I was so nervous about doing so I was really worried about being myself but it was just what I needed. I had spent the evening in my room which was clean. Then not running out of hot water while showering was even better. But I finally got tired an ended up sleeping way over than normal for me an your staff was so awesome an I let them know that I had accidentally slept over an with only that being said they gave me a late check out which was 1 pm. I hung the phone up from front desk crying bc she had No Clue what I had been through an still was that sweet an generous to me. So I had made sure that all needed to be done in ur room for housekeeping was putting the sheets on the bed., a the bathroom of course. I just tried to make it as easy as I could for them since y’all were so good to me. I appreciate the love and respect and support y’all have for your customers. I will say if I need a night away from life again I would most definitely be happy to visit with you all again. Just one thing that did leave me questioning my revisiting is while I was in the lobby waiting on Uber after me checking out it was brought to my attention that you had some construction workers staying for a week and had more coming in that day but the two guys were there and they had been ate up by BED BUGS !!! I mean they were not joking about it but I was so confused by it being I had such a relaxing an unstressed night and they had this going on an my heart felt for them bc they had bites all over them it was awful. I guess I’m trying to say I hate that for your Hotel but I know it’s nothing y’all can control but stuff like that will leave a bad taste in there mouth!!!!!
Disliked: Absolutely nothing I was so happy with everything!!! I just hope that the BED BUGS situation is resolved because it was the only thing that I would’ve thought I would have heard someone say about Comfort Inn an then it already being in 2 rooms was awful!! But other than that my stay was the best I ever had at any North Carolina Hotel !!!!
