Liked: Room was well appointed and clean although there was some hair remaining in the shower/ tub from the previous guest(s). The shower drain backed up. It seemed that the tub plug mechanism may have been broken and stuck in place. Other than this issue the room was fine. The breakfast was adequate although the eggs had run out when I first arrived in the dining area and took a while to be replaced. Food was standard nothing to exceptional, but a decent value added-amenity. The desk personnel both at check-in and check-out were very pleasant and represented the property well.
Disliked: Shower didn't drain. Alerted front desk at check-out and the person was very appreciative of knowing and said she would be immediately reporting that issue for being repaired. The small balcony outside the room had not been cleaned in what looked like a long time. There was a large amount of spider webs and dust and dirt accumulated. Hopefully that will be addressed before warmer weather when guest may want to use that area. For the most part the property seemed well maintained.

Liked: The room was clean. The staff was very accommodating and SO friendly and courteous. Such nice folks. Helped us find the best food option for the night. A delightful stay.
Disliked: You could use a bigger parking lot.

It was alright for one...
Liked: Location was convenient for us.
Disliked: The room they assigned at first had the middle door that could go through the room next door, we did not like that. So we requested for a different room. They found us another room, it also had the door going to next room, but no one was staying next to us. So we were okay with that. But the toilet did not work properly which the water didn’t go down. We asked them to fix it the next morning, they came up, said they fixed it, but it still didn’t work when we used it after they “fixed” it. So we did not feel comfortable using it. Also, the bathtub had jets in it, but they were disgusting. I could obviously see they haven’t been cleaned. My son wanted to try the jets in the bath, but I had to tell him no because I did not feel comfortable using them. And also, the coffee machine did not work. No big deal, but I told the front desk when we were checking out that the coffee machine didn’t work, just wanted them to know so they can fix it for the next person. The front desk lady said “OK”. There was no “oh sorry about that! Thank you for letting us know!” Instead, she looked at me with really confusing face like “why is she telling me this” face. So I wasn’t happy about that. Normally at a hotel or motel, customers tell the front desk that something didn’t work in their room when they check out, the hotel offers something complimentary even if it’s a free drink to take for the road or something to show they appreciate the feedback, but I was disappointed at this Comfort Inn regarding that manner. Hopefully they can improve with their customer services!
