Perfect SLC weekend getaway

Liked: Location was close to downtown slc but also not in the heart of the busy city. Airport was really close but no need to worry we never heard an airplane once.
Disliked: Nothing. Everything was great. Definitely would stay again.

Liked: Loved the shuttle to the airport and back. Rode train into city so didn't have to worry about parking in or traffic. Enjoyed pool and breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable for four people. Staff very friendly!

Liked: BREAKFAST WAS GREAT! Only having 1 staff member she did get behind for food and we had to wait a little longer. Everything was clean for the room and fecility. We did not go to the airport.
Disliked: The pool closed very early the night we stayed.

Decent hotel and fairly comfortable

Liked: Bed was comfortable and room was fine a pretty good place to stay. Close to the Airport and not a shabby location.
Disliked: Pool was not open and that was the main reason we booked for the kids to have a place to swim and unwind after being in the car all day. So that was a disappointment.

Disliked: No one ever contacted me about using the hotel van even though I indicated that I was interested in the shuttle. The shuttle doesn’t begin running until 6am so if your flight is before then you are out of luck. The refrigerator and ac unit in the room I was in was so loud I was startled out of sleep several times. The door at the end of the first floor hall by room 100 slams and kept me up all day and night. It’s incredibly jarring. Dog next door barked for hours. When I informed the front desk I was informed that they knew but that the owners weren’t answering their phones. There wasn’t an offer to move me to a different room even though I just checked in. Dogs being left in on property in jeep for at least two days barked at all hours of the day and night. Front desk informed me there was nothing they could do. Will be seeking other accommodations.

OK hotel ruined by surly...

Liked: Nice fitness center. Pool and hot tub also fine, but as always, full of screaming children, even at 9 pm.
Disliked: Bait and switch on pet fee, which was higher than what was quoted by phone, even though we sent a note via the booking.com “special requests” feature confirming the fee amount. The manager would not yield. We were moved from the top floor (which does not have “dog-friendly” rooms) to the 3rd floor, where ironically, we were beneath a room with kids running about until 11 pm, while our dog was out cold. We knocked on their door and the father was very apologetic and looked thoroughly overwhelmed. Perhaps they were on Eastern time. Too bad the staff was not as nice as the guests.
