Comfort Inn & Suites Salem

for being a comfort suit...

Liked: the breakfast was hot, a few options, area was very clean!
Disliked: our room smelled like someone had been eating in it! Refrigerator was missing a foot so was not level, and had troubleopening! This in not the normal standard we see in a comfort inn chain! needs a deep clean!

Pleasant

Liked: Soft bed nice pool and jacuzzi , cold water by entry
Disliked: Plugged toilet, wallpaper pealing , loud location, no ketchup , sauces, toppings for waffles and sausage egg. Just syrup. Cheap basic tea.

Superb

Liked: Everything was fine
Disliked: No complaints

Liked: Jay & Michael were very helpful with all my questions

For sleeping it was fine.

Liked: TV was great, big and new. Breakfast was ok, enough choices. Room had plenty of space.
Disliked: It needs a little TLC, fix scratches, spots, peeling wallpaper, filler sticking out of chair seat. It was noisy, there are two roads under the window, you can really hear the cars.

Exceptional

Liked: The front clerk Jaay was awesome! They helped me check in and told me good morning the next day as I was heading out for a meeting. I loved their bubbly personality.
Disliked: This was a comfort inn, and we had high expectations for it compared to the one in McMinnville. It just wasn't as nice as the other one, but the staff were awesome. The breakfast wasn't all that appetizing either. The other part you had no control over were noisy guests across from us and next to us.

Disliked: Coffee was terrible so weak looked more like water and I drink a semi weak coffee, breakfast wasn't good

Disliked: Our room was next to the elevator, walls super thin and we could hear every noise and elevator traffic all night long.
