Comfort Inn & Suites Orange County John Wayne Airport

I spent money on a superior king room and just got a regular room so that sucked and we had a view of cars when I asked for a pool view, so yeah, not good.

Liked: The bed.
Disliked: We got a bad view.

Very restful

Liked: Breakfast was great!
Disliked: My daughter couldn't enjoy being in the jacuzzi due to floating dead little bugs.

The room was stinky.

Liked: They had a pool and they had free breakfast. The parking was also easy and convenient.
Disliked: The room smelled bad I had to go out and buy some lysol and air freshener. I was booked for the wrong day. The website booked us for the 14th even though I paid late on the 14th, was supposed to be for the 15th. I had to book the last room available the same day since they could not help me with changing the date for the hotel.

Either had pretty bad luck...

Liked: The staff was helpful when we had an issue with our sink and put us in a different room in a timely manner.
Disliked: Our sink backed up. It seems a previous guest sharpened their makeup pencils into the sink and the water backed up including the pencil shavings. We also noticed a few ants in our original room which was a little alarming. When we moved into a new room, our tub didn't drain well. So our overall stay didn't leave the best impression on us for the price. Additionally when we checked in, the front desk attendant didn't tell us where anything was (elevators, how to get to our room, where breakfast was, etc.) so that was a bit odd.

This was the worse Comfort...

Liked: Breakfast was ok. Same basic food they always have. Rooms were not very clean. Floors are stained, under bed dirty, a giant roach was in our room, a homeless person was sleeping by the pool and staff said they knew about homeless person and it was ok. The room was also very noisy at night.
Disliked: Roach in room, room feeling dirty, homeless person by pool. I added pictures of the roach I had to chase out the room and kill. I told staff about roach and they weren’t concerned.
