Liked: Bathroom was clean, sheets were clean. Tv had Hbo as advertised. Had good coffee in the room and good soap and shampoo as well Towels and bedding were clean that about it for the good.
Disliked: So many things, the front desk girl was rude. and I seemed to be bothering her and some kind of criminal just for checking in. Then she says "your room is 216, but the elevator is broken, so you'll have to use stairs!" Didn't ask about any mobility issues about my back with metal in it, how hard it is climb up an down stairs, OH NO! Just here is your room elevator is broken now go on. Stair well and carpets were caked with mud and filthy. Now neither one of my cards worked, so I had to go back down, and then of course she accused me of "doing it wrong" and finally after letting me know how wrong I was re programmed the cards, while telling me EVERY OTHER ROOM WAS SOLD OUT ON FIRST AND THIRD FLOORS, so stairs was my only option! that is something I should know before I spend my money with you! SO with great pain I went back up to my room got in, only to find that the curtain facing the parking lot DIDN'T CLOSE! So me and the wife are WIDE OPEN to the public, and facing the parking lot. I literally took the bedspread and used it as a curtain. I understand that the business is competitive, but come on, you can only cut corners so much before you literally are making your guests uncomfortable, to save money. TV was tiny as well, you have less expensive better services and kinder employees at several places in the Norman area, the fact I feel I have to ask if the elevator is broken, or can i have a curtain that does not leave exposed to all the guests in the parking lot, means I will not be returning. I chose comfort inn, because its supposed to be the most like a home stay, and comfortable. this simply was not the case.
