Superb

It was ok

Liked: Breakfast was amazing. People are nice.
Disliked: No towels at all. Was told we would get towels in morning and got floor rugs. Room wasn't cleaned at all

Disliked: Broken light in elevator. Ice machine on 3rd floor not in service. No towels in room at check in until requested

Lovely stay but after emails...

Liked: I have been staying here while on Route 66 since it was built and I believe 20 some years go it was a Holiday Inn Express.Handicap room was great - I am walking challenged so it works out great for me I feel very confident staying there. It was full - but quiet nevertheless. I felt secure once in and locked for the night.
Disliked: When I got to my room the door was not locked it was open. I had someone come in with me to make sure it was ok.There was a rip in the carpet (slit) where the carpet was worn just before bed. I was concerned I would catch my footin it but it was fine.I didn't appreciate the after-email that because of the "great rate" I wasn't getting points. This was not a $150 room.I remember paying $60 for the same room not that long ago and $92 with tax no points? If you want people to continue to stay make it possible. I would book direct with the hotel if rates were price matched. Your policies have made the change in people dealing direct with the hotels.
