Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown Brickell-Port of Miami

Location of hotel was great; room was awesome; clean. Check out was fast and courteous.

Liked: Room was very nice.
Disliked: Check in was poor.

Basically, this hotel works because it is in an excellent location and the rates are cheap for downtown Miami. After that, it's pretty disappointing.

Liked: Excellent location; low cost.
Disliked: Weak Wi-Fi; TV didn;t work; bathroom sink faucet handles leaked; no washcloth replacement; no drinking cups; windows looked as if they hadn't been washed since the hotel was built.

Very close to the James Knight Convention Center - very convenient location for conferences there.

Liked: Staff were all very helpful and pleasant.
Disliked: None of ice machines worked; no coffee pots for hot water in rooms.

Bad

Disliked: I have never stayed in the hotel in Miami area that first of all charged extra for the night that booking says in the invoice.I have never stayed in the hotel in Miami area that smells ln the lobby and in the elevator and in the room as it is in Comfort Inn Hotel.I did not spent the night there.Room was small with no view and smells like spoild food.I did not use anyrhing there...I just leftI have never wrote any negative review for any place but I wanted to people to know what to expect.

Disliked: Front desk staff was not friendly and occupied with other things. Breakfast was late, and the parking area was available close to the hotel. Staff didn't explain to us, only informed about the valet parking. Shower was difficult to operate and understand.

Liked: The breakfast could have a bit more variety, like fruits, or different juices.Not sure if the juices are served fresh or from a package. Fresh would be better
Disliked: On booking.com the hotel fee was not included, so I was under the impression that the price i paid was all-inn. I seemed that the hotel has a seperate charge added to the price of booking.com.In the future it would be better if all additonal expenses and fees are clearly mentioned up front.
