Disliked: Before I booked this hotel, I called the hotel directly to make sure pool was working and heated because this is the only reason we were staying at the hotel so grandkids could use the pool. I was told pool is working and heated. When we arrived, before checking in, I again confirmed pool is working and heated. We checked into room, got grandkids to come to swim, tested water, and it was freezing cold. After repeated questioning of Sy or Si at front desk he said pool is room temperature and he didn’t know how to change temperature, and we would have to wait until manager returned on Monday (we checked in on Friday). The pool was freezing cold! We tried swimming one day and that was all we could take, grandkids lips turned blue after 15 mins in the water! Again, repeatedly asked Sy at front desk to turn up temp on pool, he said he did not know how, and said we would have to ask manager when he returned on Monday. We were in room #121, which is the first room around the corner from the front desk. The sink in this room was stopped up, would not drain, and had black sludge floating in water. We asked them to fix it and their response was to leave a plunger outside of the door to our room. The shower had very visible black mold all the way around the front of the bath/shower. The carpet in front of the window air conditioner unit was soaking wet. When we asked to change rooms, we were told there were no other rooms available. This was in the morning, with only 8 cars in the parking lot and no other visible customers in the hotel. When we pressed him, Sy agreed to check and said he could move us to another room down the hall. moved us to another room down the hall. This room, #105, had black mold in corners of bath/shower and again, a slow draining sink. We were so exhausted from our experience with this hotel, we just stayed in room #105 and checked out Tues morning (end of our booked stay). Never again will we stay at a choice hotel.

There was obvious reason for...
Disliked: The room on first floor was damp and carpet was wet. We moved to a 2nd story room that was only slightly improved. Sheets and toweling felt damp as well. Towels were very thin and no longer white (dingy).
