Comfort Inn & Suites Deadwood

Good

Liked: Overall our stay was very good. There were a few things that needs maintenance. One in particular would be the hot tub, the lining/paint was peeling. The staff was super! We enjoyed our weekend in Deadwood.

Liked: Price was fair, breakfast was good especially the coffee. Restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Tv didn't work right, would turn on but didn't have sound. Some machines in the arcade didn't work properly.

Liked: We booked 2 rooms, 2 months ahead of time. We requested adjoining rooms. When we got there at 6 pm, (check-in starts at 3) our rooms were on different floors, and one of our rooms wasn't ready. They gave us the keys to the one that was ready on floor 2. Those keys did not work. Back down to the front desk. They found a different room for the one that was not ready. Turns out the keys that didn't work were for a room that also had not been cleaned. Ended up in rooms 2 doors down from each other, but in one of the rooms the door didn't lock and the sink didn't drain. Staff was excellent. They comped one of our rooms and did everything they could to make us happy. I think the facilities need a major upgrade.

Disliked: My key had to be reset 4 times, workout some and pool were dirty, we asked for towels and services and they left trash cans full, they called and said we only paid for 6 days and would have to pay for another night and blamed Booking. Then "found" a credit for another night. Breakfast was mediocre at best, we went out for breakfast 5 days. Bar and lounge were closed the entire time.
