Disliked: First room wasn't what we asked for. We got a king and a pull out when we booked 2 queens. When I went to make the pull out there was no bedding. Tried calling the front desk and the phone wouldn't work. All while my kids were trying to turn on the tv and the remote wouldn't work. Went down to the front desk to request another room. Got moved to the right room but it smelt like garbage. At that point I was tired of moving the kids and it was already late. Thought the smell would air out but still smelt bad in the morning.

Liked: The hotel was generally nice in appearance. The staff was friendly and the breakfast bar was clean and well-kept throughout the breakfast hours. The location wasn't in the main part of Carbondale, but it wasn't that far away, either. I liked the desk and other piece of furniture in the room, as it gave a lot of table top space for bags and for working.
Disliked: The room wasn't cleaned all that well. The hot tub, which I got that room specifically for, was not clean. There was a dirt ring around the waterline and I had to clean it myself before using. Then, two of the jets weren't working and they weren't very powerful. The desk chair wasn't comfortable at all. Also, this room needed a couch or chair for relaxing; there was plenty of space for one.
