Comfort Inn South San Jose / Morgan Hill

Completely satisfactory

Liked: Breakfast was quite satisfactory. However, that waffle batter, or maybe the waffle iron, either need better instructions, upgrading, or abandon it.Incidentally, I also stayed at the Gilroy Comfort Inn. While the Morgan Hill facility and breakfast were good, the Gilroy facility was not so hot, and the breakfast was abominable. Literally, the worst coffee and the worst "juice" (looked like water) I have ever experienced. I'll not be using that facility and will direct others who I was working with in the area to steer clear as well. Hope this feedback helps

Pleasant

Liked: Lots of parking available. Quiet. Wifi very reliable. AC unit worked very well. Bed was very comfortable. Microwave & mini refrigerator were great. Jacuzzi tub was very large and worked well. Love the late 12pm check out time.
Disliked: Room was not close or even remotely close to what was pictured. I expected our room to look like the photo especially after upgrading our room to accommodate our interests. Carpet was dirty, our socks and feet got dirty and dark so quickly from walking around the room. Chair and headboard had normal wear and tear but some lamp shades were damaged prior to our stay. The room had a weird smell to it at arrival -had to spray lysol freshener to get rid of it. For the price paid i feel we overpaid for what we got but managed the best we could.

Hotel rooms need to be...

Liked: Breakfast was decent. Location was great for access to the soccer complex
Disliked: The hotel rooms are very dated. The carpet looks old and dirty. The leather/fabric on the sofas/chairs in the rooms is peeling off and torn. The furniture in the rooms looks very dated too.

Hot tub smelled bad, not...

Disliked: hot tub smelled strange and had not been cleaned properly. it was also luke warm.the room smelled like it had had smokers in it, although it was a non-smoking room.the furniture was very damaged - it had pulled off upholstery on both chairs and the bed.the staff was disinterested and sometimes rude.

Coffee/breakfast exceptional!

Liked: Very clean! The property was very well maintained! And of course the coffee and the excellent!We would recommend & if we travel back, will definitely make it a point to stay.Many thanks to the staff!!!
