Comfort Inn Saint Paul East

Not a bad hotel, just needs some tweaking and to not advertise a 24 hour hot tub when it is only open until 11pm. I feel for the quality the price should be a bit cheaper as well - $95 when a 5-star downtown is less than $50 more for a suite with free happy hour?

Liked: Fun colors in lobby/room; comfy bed; nice TV.
Disliked: One elevator didn't work and the other sounded horrible; advertised 24-hour hot tub yet it closed at 11pm (one of the main reasons I booked at this hotel was for the 24 hour hot tub so I could have a soak before bed). There was a long hair inside the water refill on the Keurig in our room (glad I noticed it before I brewed any coffee); inside of dresser drawers appeared to not have been cleaned.

Liked: Nice place.

Overall we were very impressed with the hotel. Next time we are in St. Paul we will be staying there.

Liked: The property is very clean. The staff are respectful. I like that the hot tub is really that huge. It’s really perfect to fit some people. The breakfast was good and I just gave a very serene and calming and relaxing environment.

Disliked: Pool permanently closed Which they do not tell you on the website also there was here and some black particles coming out of the complementary lemonade. I told a staff member. He said he was gonna change it a few days later when I was checking out the same nasty lemonade was still sitting there. Also there was a weird white substance floating in the hot tub, but irritated my skin.
