Comfort Inn Orillia

Great value for money. Very clean. Provides everything you need. Breakfast had everything and something for everyone. Not gourmet by any means but seriously I don't know what all the complaints were about. My only complaint is the 3 pm check in. That is WAY too late and unacceptable. For someone that needs to get to a venue, it's cutting it close to check in, shower and change, go to dinner, tour the Casino and go to the show. We found ourselves rushing. Especially since check out is 11 am, how is it possible that not a single room was ready by 1:30 when we arrived. My son will be staying here in 2 weeks as he attends a show, so I gave him a huge heads up about that. Otherwise I highly recommend this place!

Liked: Didn’t have breakfast, room was comfortable my one major complaint no TV and what stations that were available kept fading in and out. When ask of the staff about the problem the said it was a tower issue due to the ice storm. This issue would have been nice to know at check-in again no mention of it. Did not ask for a discount due to this issue but I feel one should have been coming the TV is part of the billing.

Disliked: Plastic knives forks and spoons, surely you can provide better metal utensils. Trying to eat a cereal with a plastic teaspoon is difficult.
