Comfort Inn Ocala Silver Springs

My stay was ok ....

Liked: The property was nice and the staff was nice but somehow I was given a handicap room with a faulty shower which leaked all over the floor during the night. I could have fallen in the bathroom during the night very dangerous situation. I called the front desk no one answered ( it was 2:30 am ) I had to hunt down the manager. The manager laid down some mats but it continued to leak. The afternoon before I had asked to change my room because the shower was hard to use,but because I had booked with booking. com I could not change it. However after the leaking incident they did give me another room which I appreciated it.

Liked: Everything was on point until ibawike to roaches crawling in nightstand. And no there was no food or drinks on stand nor out in open.
Disliked: Roach activity on night stand. Which deterred me from trying the complimentary breakfast.

Disliked: My tv cable box did not work. Breakfast was ok not great.

Did not spend the night

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: The lobby smelled like wet dog. I asked the front desk if I could look at the room to make sure it didn’t smell like pets and there was a dirty towel on the counter, room was dated, dark, had an odor. I did not want to spend the night with my daughter. I got charged for the first night because I did not take out the cancellation insurance. I then went to Holiday Inn express and it was awesome!!
