I would probably not stay at the Comfort Inn again due to no outdoor security, especially with so many homeless people.
Liked: Room was a good size.
Disliked: There were a lot of homeless people and the word "c**t" was sprayed outside on all corners of the office.

Disappointed with unacceptable conditions and...
Liked: Location
Disliked: They advertised as a 100% non smoking facility yet our room was certainly occupied by someone who had recently smoked. Our AC did not work or our TV, making it hard to breathe and enjoy

This hellhole nearly sabotaged months...
Liked: Charging me $1,500 to freeze, suffocate, and suffer for four nights.
Disliked: Absolutely Awful Stay – Avoid if You’re in Town for ARVO or Any Professional EventI stayed at Comfort Inn Salt Lake City from May 4 to May 8, 2025, while attending the ARVO 2025 conference, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was unbearably humid and reeked of heavy smoke, even though it was supposedly non-smoking. But the worst part? The air conditioning system was completely dysfunctional. It was stuck on cooling mode, and despite turning it off, the room remained frigid at night—so cold that I had to sleep in my jacket and hat.The result? My airways were completely congested, I developed a runny nose, and I felt miserable on the very morning of my ARVO presentation—an event I had prepared for for months. I paid $1,500 for 4 nights, expecting comfort and reliability, but instead got a freezing, unhealthy, smoke-filled box.If you’re coming to Salt Lake City for ARVO or any professional event, avoid this place at all costs. Not only will it wreck your sleep and health, but it might also affect your professional performance. This hotel made me hate my stay in an otherwise beautiful city.
