Comfort Inn Cleveland Airport

Rooms were very clean. Beds were very comfy. Good breakfast. Very nice hotel; excellent price and convenient to all the restaurants and sights. Staff was very nice also.

Disliked: Hot food at breakfast area was not kept very hot.

Disliked: Upon check in hotel stated that booking.com's payment had been declined, my credit card stated it was paid in full. So he said I had to call myself to have them call him. Agent tried calling multiple times but guess what, he had the ringer off. After asking about the call he finally turned it back on and then proceeded to cancel my reservation and charged me again! He stated I would be fully refunded by booking.com and I have yet to see a dime. The hotel was old and run down, and the bathroom pipes started squealing at 6:45 am till we left at 10.

Lower standards Hotel but gets...

Liked: Cheap hotel in a good location. Once I finally got a clean room, the room was perfectly fine.
Disliked: The first room I was given clearly wasn't clean and ready, so I went back to the front desk to tell them. They apologized and gave me another room. I went to that room and there was a crusty towel hanging on the shower curtain still and the toilet didn't flush. So I went back to the front desk AGAIN. The 3rd time, the front desk worker went to check out the next room first to make sure it was good. This room ended up being perfectly fine. You can tell this hotel is low in standards by the lack of upkeep throughout. From loads of dirt in the elevator, missing light covers in the elevator ceiling to stained furniture. Some exceptional cleaning never gets done, just enough to keep the place running. Clearly cost cutting ownership. But again, its still enough to get the job done but do not expect a well kept hotel if you come here.

Liked: The location was good and the air in the room was amazing
Disliked: We felt the hotel could use some cleaning. The hallways need swept. There were light fixtures hanging in the hallways. The elevator was missing tiles in the ceiling exposing light fixtures. There was travel size bottles on top of the remaining tile there. The rooms need updated. Stains on the beds and mirrors peelings

Liked: Not much
Disliked: Not very clean. Went to breakfast at 8:45 and there was nothing left. They had bread and bagels but the toaster was broken. Took 40 minutes to check in because the poor gal at the front desk had to run everything by a guy on the phone. It was bizarre.

Disliked: Very dirty and disgusting. Stains everywhere, sheets & on cords and the walls etc. the halls were horrible, piles of trash everywhere. People slamming doors all night long.

Never going back or staying...

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Not very clean, not very updated, tape holding a broken piece of the bed together, chains on locks for door and windows broken off, window off hinge and open - couldn’t close, loud fan had to be on in the bathroom for the light to work, never showered as it wasn’t very welcoming of clean, toilet seat dramatically shifted every time we sat down.

Disliked: It took over an hour to get our room, while other people were getting checked in and went to their rooms. The toilet didn't work right.
