Despite the fact that they were understaffed, the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms and facility were clean; the breakfast was tasty and check in/check out was handled well. The fitness center was also clean and everything at the hotel seemed to be well taken care of. Definitely would go back.

Liked: The choices available for breakfast allowed all three of us to find something we liked. The only issue was that on the first day the eggs were cooked in such a way that the eggs were dry and tasteless. The second day they were scrambled and so much better. There was only wheat bread available for toast. Not everybody likes or can eat wheat bread. I was not able to have toast at all because of this. Even the french toast was made with wheat bread. I couldn't eat that either.The staff were all friendly and helpful if they could be. I say if they could be because there was one issue I had in the room that they just couldn't help me with. The design of the toilet made the front higher than the rest of the seat. This caused the seat to be too high and made it impossible to sit comfortably. I asked at the desk if they might have something I could rest my feet on while using the toilet. The guy looked but they didn't have anything. That is what I expected but he did try and without acting like I was being unreasonable to ask. We have stayed here before and will again when we want to stay in Bangor. Keep up the good work.
Disliked: The toilet design. It was painful to sit on because of the front of the seat being too high. I am of average height so it's not because I am short. It was worse for my daughter because she is shorter.
