Disliked: I checked into this hotel and immediately checked out about 2 hours later. The hotel is in a bit of a sketchy location and directly off the highway, so you hear the traffic. The room was dirty with stains on the shower walls, pillows, hair in the towels, trash left under the sink vanity, and the entire hotel/room were musty and itchy. Not to mention you can't close the bathroom door without getting into the shower or straddling the toilet, it's that small. I checked out at the front desk, the girl was neutral (seemed she didn't care much, but I don't blame her) and she would have to check with her manager to request a full refund instead of the one-night cancellation fee. The manager wasn't in until 7am the next morning, so I called the next morning, and no one answered. I asked to waive the fees via the app chat, but the hotel never responded. Customer service on the booking app tried calling and no one picked up for them either. They are still charging me for a full stay even though I checked out, at the front desk and via messaging. I disputed it with my credit card and this hotel finally responded a month later saying they never received proper cancellation notice..I checked out AT THE FRONT DESK and told them it was because of the room condition. I never stayed here and they are charging me for a full 4 day stay.

Liked: Standard buffet breakfast, waffle maker, yoplait yogurt, coffee maker, cereal, those weird omelette shaped eggs, good bacon! better than average fruit. We eat low fat, organic usually, but few places cater to that. Always appreciate real oatmeal but not to be found here. Buffet was clean and well tended. Room on 4th floor appeared to be relatively new remodel, clean, beds comfortable. Overall, much better than online review scores led us to expect. Interesting Mexican restaurant close by.
Disliked: Staff that greeted us was borderline insolent, but I was tired and maybe unclear about my request. Neighborhood rehab/construction going on. Unsightly, but did not impact stay.
