Reception closed with confirmed late...

Disliked: Although I asked for a late check-in and that was confirmed, the reception was closed when I arrived late at night. The emergency phone was broken and I couldn't get through on my phone. It meant I was stranded and had to find alternative accommodation. Very stressful! They offered a refund which was helpful.

Disliked: The hotel was chosen hotel for a conference I was attending. When I booked (some three weeks before my stay) the Booking.Com website said the only room available was the King sized . I therefore booked it, though it was above my needs and budget. (I am a pensioner.) When I arrived, I found the hotel was at most about half full. My 'room' was a two-storey apartment with two king sized bedrooms, each with bathroom. Full kitchen , dining table for six people, washing machine, washing up machine etc. Yes, it was nice, but completely unnecessary for one small old person.
