Liked: This was an ideal work/personal break trip, such a lovely friendly hotel, always happy to help and to make my stay very enjoyable. Food was well cooked, service was always with a smile and the room was clean and comfortable. A good location to explore the area, if you’re a walker then this couldn’t be better. I’d happily return, and I will given the opportunity.
Disliked: Location, staff, accommodation. The room was a small double but perfect for me and very comfortable.

Lovely location but unfortunately we...

Liked: We have visited before and have always had a fantastic time - it’s in a lovely location
Disliked: On this visit out bedroom smelt very strongly of dogs - we both own dogs so we’re not anti dogs but it really did smell.We asked for a different room but were told only a double was available which couldn’t be converted into a twin!We understand this but at no point did anyone apologise or try to find a solution!

Liked: Staff were so friendly, welcoming and smiley. Hotel decor was fabulous and comfortable, nice bar with good beer, fabulous rose wine and lovely food, dinner, afternoon tea and breakfast! Great location, lovely bathroom and comfy bed.
Disliked: Nothing it was perfect
