Excellent quiet location amazing hotel

Liked: Liked the location easy access for walks and catching bus into town.Room was large and bed comfortable bathroom was huge.Staff and food were excellent.
Disliked: Second floor was too high for us as we elderly couple as there is no lift.Next visit we will book first floor.Didnt like the toilet paper.Very thin had to usedouble amount.

Liked: I liked the location, staff were lovely,afternoon tea was really nice .it was a treat from our daughter..so we decided to stay overnight.we had something to eat which was really nice.couldnt fault it.the only thing that I wouldn't want to stay in the same room it was a attic room.,and they did provide a fan which was great as it was so hot,but it meant keeping it on most of the night,so never really got much sleep.would definitely stay again but in a different room
Disliked: Just the room was so hot .would stay again just not in that room.

Liked: Dinner was very good. The staff throughout our visit were helpful and friendly.
Disliked: Room was a little warm.

Liked: Breakfast staff were attentive. The toaster was pretty slow! Would be nice to have a pot of coffee rather than a single cup. English breakfast was well cooked.

Stunning hotel, great staff and...

Liked: Room and bathroom were both really clean and spacious. The staff were excellent, friendly and courteous.The location and hotel itself in the grounds were beautiful.
Disliked: Nothing, all was as booked and expected. Oh, except cheap coffee in room; wish hotels would at least a nicer coffee bag rather than sachets of instant.

Disliked: There is no elevator, I suppose it would be very expensive to fit one.

Liked: Staff, Rooms and gardens. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff to help.

Liked: Really nice rooms, car park in front of the building. Beautiful setting.
Disliked: The fans in our rooms had collected a lot of dust, and there was mould on the silicone in the shower - apart from that everything seemed clean.
