a very clean, comfortable hotel.

Liked: excellent food in the evening meal. very well cooked and presented.The breakfast was brilliant with so much choice, much more choice than I was expecting.Would certainly recommend this hotel

Liked: Lovely setting (but scaffolding up for ongoing works) plus a great garden for outside drinks and a good sized car park. Enjoyable cooked breakfast and delicious cold fruits especially the apricots!

A warm welcome

Liked: The staff were all brilliant on what was the hottest day of the year, very hard for a hotel to manage with climate change, plenty of fans and iced water available. We only had breakfast but the food was good and again the breakfast staff were helpful and cheerful. Thanks for a nice stay.

Liked: Lovely large room, bed very comfortable and linen Lovely quality. Breakfast very good choice and nicely cooked. Staff very friendly and professional. Would definitely stay again.
Disliked: Struggled to get hot water from the shower but plenty hot water for bath.

Disliked: Arrived at 8.30pm and the kitchen was already closed as was the only restaurant in the area! Ended up having a pizza that was quite good!
