Pleasant but would have been...

Liked: Central location.
Disliked: The fact that we couldn't open the window as it was painted shut, no air conditioning so not a comfortable sleep due to lack of fresh air. Might that be a fire hazard/health & safety issue

A warm friendly welcome to...

Liked: The location is great for exploring. Close to the centre, easy access if coming by bus too. I had dinner and it was really nice and great value. We didn't have breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.
Disliked: It was really good and great value for money. The whole place looks a bit tired, maybe. But it is clean and friendly.

Good overall, location was great...

Liked: Location was perfect for our scheduled tours. Short walk to meeting point. Close to launderette and tracery store.
Disliked: The stairs. Even though there was elevator there were still stairs to get to room.

Disappointing

Liked: It was centrally located and near a supermarket and laundromat.
Disliked: Despite an early booking and requesting a quiet room we were given a small room at the rear of the hotel overlooking a noisy service lane including early garbage trucks. Tour group bookings given priority. The hotel is very "tired". It has a bar. Breakfast is average but meats (bacon and pork sausages) undercooked. Junior staff allowed to access breakfasts before guests leave.

Disliked: I’m just being picky, the bathroom door was very stiff to open, easy repair and bathroom radiator rail makes noise
