Colonial Inn Motel

It's ok.

Liked: The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly.
Disliked: Very tight front carpark although there was additional parking at the rear. I think the photos are a little misleading, the buildings and rooms certainly felt a lot older than I was expecting. Some very rowdy guests in opposing rooms on the first night. Just a little more run down than we were expecting but overall our stay was ok.

Liked: The buildings are old, but the rooms were claen and serviced every day. The staff were friendly and always helpful.
Disliked: Water pressure for the showers, but I suspect that is a general problem in Christchurch these days

Very spacious and adequate facilities.

Liked: Manager allowed early check in and gave us a bigger room than I booked.
Disliked: Shower had low pressure

Liked: The location is good, close to the city with restaurants not far from it. The room is good sized for 2 people, clean and maintained well. Parking is tight in the front area but was not an issue as the place was not full to capacity. Easy parking at the back of the property. The staff were very helpful.
Disliked: No exhaust in the toilet/bathroom but not much of an issue to be highlighted.

Liked: The motel is dated but clean. Reasonable sized living area, for a motelIt was very reasonably priced, and you get what you pay for
Disliked: Tv didn't take usb input
