Perfect stay in Lyon!!!!

Liked: Location of the hotel is perfect, at the old city neighbourhood. Breakfast is amazing, it has everything someone may ask for. The room is nice, and hotel staff in the reception are very helpful. Highly recommended

Liked: Location and quirkiness of hotel great.
Disliked: Requested a bath but plug didn’t work. Balcony doors hardly opened due to bed being too close.

Liked: This was a fantastic hotel. The location, on the edge of the Old Town,w as ideal. It was not too far from the underground so we arrived from the airport. The room was huge and the bed was really comfortable. There was a decent selection at breakfast. The staff were very friendly and cheerful

Disliked: Didn’t like that there was no parking space and the publics parks in the area is a hassel

Quirky hotel in great location...

Liked: Excellent location, easy to find with friendly helpful staff and a lovely roof terrace and bar. Quirky!
Disliked: Hotel parking wasn’t available. Alternative was easily available and close by but expensive at €25 per day. Poor shower with broken head and blocked drain. Reported first thing but not sorted. However the staff were excellent and found an alternative room.Rooms disappointingly basic for the money and apparent “4 star” rating on the sign.

Liked: This was our second visit to College Hôtel. It is ideally situated, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We had major train problems and had to cancel and rebook but this was no problem. Looking forward to our next visit
Disliked: Our room was on the top floor with a corner bath and over bathtub shower. Difficult to get in and out of this shaped bath with creaky ancient knees.

Nice, clean hotel, perfect for...

Liked: The hotel was perfectly located in Vieux Lyon, close to restaurants, cafes and bakeries. The balcony views of the city and the church were quite beautiful. The rooms were clean.
Disliked: Rooms are small and kind of basic but met the needs for our one night stay.
