Liked: The location was excellent for our 3 nights. Good bed and pillows. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. The Nelson theme collection was amazing.

Liked: Very central, extremely clean and great staff. Clearly a hotel run with attention to detail and comfort.
Disliked: If you're very noise sensitive the hotel might not be for you, because it is situated in a historic building with the expected level of noise that comes with that.

Wonderful place to stay combining...

Liked: This is an extraordinary hotel right in the middle of Gamla Stan, the old part of Stockholm. What's very special is that you feel more like boarding the ship of Admiral Nelson - there are lower and upper decks, the hallways are narrow as in a ship, the bathroom door had a bulleye and the room was more like a cabin. I really loved that and enjoyed the atmosphere very much. The "Crew" was very friendly and supportive, everything clean and nicely prepared, lots of beautiful old ship memoriabilia, I can highly recommend it, especially because of its great location.
Disliked: Well, the breakfast cannot be compared to the one on a (cruise-)ship :-), it's rather basic but fits the overall simplicity, nevertheless includes everything you need for a good start in the morning.

Excellent location with lots to...

Liked: I loved the location of the hotel, right in the center of Gamla Stan. I was easily able to walk to most sights and museums and then find plenty of great restaurants at night. It was my favorite part of Stockholm for staying, eating, sightseeing.
Disliked: The rooms could have used more hooks to hang up PJs, clothing or toilettries in the bathroom and in the bedroom. Also, my mattress kept sliding off the bed frame so something to make it harder to do so would be well received.
