Excellent hotel.

Liked: Lovely quirky hotel right in the middle of the old town. The location was brilliant, and the staff was exceptional . Superior room beds were huge and very comfortable. It's a charming quirky hotel, so please understand before you book that it's very old and exactly the opposite to a modern chain hotel, but that's what's add value.Location is brilliant with loads of bars and restaurants at your doorstep. I thought it would be hot in the room without aircon, but they provided a fan in the room, which proved more than adequate.
Disliked: No safe in room but they will keep your valuables in the safe in reception.

Well located, small hotel in...

Liked: The hotel is a charming, old fashioned hotel, furnished with lots of old 'stuff'.We stayed in room 44, which is in the roof. It is a large room, with roof windows and blinds to cover them at night. The seating along the side of the room provided plenty of space to place baggage and clothes. The bathroom was clean and well equipped.The location is excellent if you want to be near the Old Town and also within walking distance of the CBD. Church bells ring regularly, but that adds to the charm, as far as we are concerned.
Disliked: If you arrive after 11.00am, taxis can only drop you off at a corner nearby, since the street is closed to traffic at that time. This is not something that the hotel can control.

Liked: The collection of antiques all around the hotel. Lovely corner bedroom. Helpful, friendly staff.
Disliked: Limited space and facilities. Made the breakfast and room limited.

Disliked: We chose to return to this hotel because we had a great experience last year. Unfortunately, this time was a huge disappointment.We specifically booked the more expensive room, expecting more comfort. However, the room we received was nothing like the photo shown on the booking page. It was a narrow, cramped space – definitely not suitable for two people. To reach the second bed in the back, you had to squeeze past the first one. The entire room was barely 8 square meters.We paid 2.808.90 SEK (approx. € 240 - 245 Euro) for this room – and on top of that, another €100 for an upgrade?Honestly, this felt misleading and far from the standard we experienced last year. Very disappointing and not acceptable for this price.
