Liked: Very nice hotel located close to High Street. The friendly staff goes the extra mile to make people feel at home. Highly recommended and would always be my first option when going back to Colchester.

A comfortable stay with parking.

Liked: We checked into room 1 on the ground floor near the car park. Very clean and comfy room. Check in went smoothly and breakfast was continental and substantial. We dined a few doors down at The Noodle House for dinner with locals, and oh my gosh it was absolutely delicious. Loved that the hotel provided 2 large bottles of water, tea coffee and even cookies. Right in the heart of town.
Disliked: The car park, which we were very grateful for was so incredibly narrow. We were driving a Hyundai Kona

Fantastic hotel with amazing general...

Liked: The general manager Danny, was an absolute diamond.He was so friendly, welcoming and attentive that he made our stay extra special.The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and had everything that you needed.The breakfast was a fantastic spread, something for everyone.
