Colchester Boutique Hotel

Great central place to stay.

Liked: Friendly helpful staff, who were happy to help with local information. It is situated more or less in the City (Town) centre. About 20 minutes walk from both Colchester Rail Stations. The restaurant was not open on the nights I stayed, but it's so close to many restaurants it was not a problem.
Disliked: It rained !! If you are tall, I recommend telling them when you book, it's a very old building and my room had a low ceiling in places. Again, not really a problem.

Exceptional

The perfect city hotel.

Liked: Fabulous friendly staff. Daniel the GM was aa wonderful host, fabulous continental breakfast, excellent location, comfy bed, all fantastic.
Disliked: The gateway to the car park. Pretty scary trying to squeeze through, but then it is an authentic 18th Century coaching inn.
