Liked: Staff were great, some nice touches in the room such as chocolates, biscuits, quality tea
Disliked: Layout of rooms was disappointing, not user friendly, room chilly on arrival and in the morning at 7am. Only continental breakfast available.

Character hotel in good location-...

Liked: Great location. Character hotel. Very good breakfast and friendly breakfast staff.
Disliked: The first room we were shown was according to the manager the best room in the hotel as it had a small living area attached. However the bedroom was tiny with a very small double bed pushed against the wall on one side. It also had no air conditioning which is needed as none of the windows in the hotel open. When we insisted on changing rooms the room we were given was much better. However, the air conditioning produced an odour probably because the filter hadn’t been changed for a long time.

Liked: Loved the oldie worldly look mixed with modern touches. Really lovely bed ,towel and hospitality tray. Continental breakfast was beyond good fresh fruits cereals breads croissants jam marmalade col d meats staff really lovely
Disliked: Although you could ask for drinks at the hotel the bar was not freely open and other than breakfast no other meals or snacks were available. We would have loved to spent our evening there with a nice meal as it was our Anniversary but we had to go out to eat! Reviews we looked at said that tapas etc were available but please check closely as these reviews are 6years old.

Liked: Excellent location and plenty of choice for continental breakfast
Disliked: Hairdryer cable not long enough to be able to see in the mirror unless there was a different socket that I missed. One curtain partially came down when I tried to open it in the morning.
