Very good and convenient for the need to get to a music venue which was close by. Good service by staff at Cogie House and would book their again.

Disliked: AVOID!!!!!! Booked here as a last minute stay as we decided to go to a concert. Read the reviews online but thought this would be suitable as we were only staying one night. When we got 10 minutes away from the hotel, we had a call on what’s app that told us they had no more rooms and to go to another property. The phone was put down on us when we were trying to ask for a refund. They sent us the address the new hotel was not in the correct area for us nor did it have any reviews. I felt unsafe to stay there without it also being too far away from the stadium. We called back and asked for a refund as they could not accommodate us. We were told she would speak to her manager. We then message and we got an email given to us. I have emailed this email and have had no response. I’m not even sure if it’s a real email address. Then when I messaged them on what’s app explaining what had happened again and that I would like a refund, they blocked me. This is completely unprofessional. We had to book another hotel room which was another lot of money. We paid £120 for this hotel for one night already. We had travelled almost three hours to go to our concert that we were consequently late for due to having to find another hotel. This is totally unacceptable! AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Liked: After reading the reviews we did not expect too much. However the people got in touch via WhatsApp on the day and kept in touch (we were anxious about this part due to the previous reviews) but it went smooth. Everything very grotty but we literally just wanted a bed to sleep in after a concert. Perfect location for Tottenham stadium. I wouldn’t stay longer than 1 night. When we were leaving we looked at the kitchen which was extremely questionable let’s just say. Overall this place “did the job” and was never going to blow us away.

Liked: The only good thing about this property was how close to the stadium it was. And that the woman who I was in text contact with was very nice and allowed us to check in early.
Disliked: The property was not worth the money we paid for two nights. The property needs a massive renovation and clean. Chewing gum found stuck to the back of furniture, broken and ripped headboards and flooring. Broken fan and barely working fridge. Multiple hairs and stains on both the pillows, sheet and rest of bed linen so we had to sleep on top as didn’t trust getting inside. Had to always wear socks around this property as had stood on multiple things like a broken bra clasp. We went downstairs to check out the shared facilities but honestly wish we didn’t, kitchen needed ripping out and starting again and the garden was disgusting. If it wasn’t for the fact that we had spent our budget on the room and I had my little sister with me we would’ve left and found somewhere else to stay. Had to use a bed side cabinet to put up against the door when we slept as all we had was a silly little switch lock to lock the door with but anyone could’ve pushed hard on the door and it would broke and open and the funny thing is they wanted a £30 deposit for a key!!!The property is not what it states in its description or photos and really needs someone to go round their and see exactly what this accommodation is and offering and this is massive false advertisement and feel robbed and ripped off.
