Liked: The location was perfect and all the staff was awesome. Very comfortable and clean. I loved the privacy of the pods.

Nice place but best for...

Liked: Liked the pod set up. Definitely felt more private than a traditional hostel dorm. Overall the place was pretty good. Liked the vibe and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: One big negative is there is no kitchen. This means no kettle, no fridge and no microwave. They are doing some renovations but this should have been clearly stated when booking. They did offer the use of the kitchen at their sister hostel but that was a good 15-20 minute walk away so not really practical. I had a booking for six days, if I had known there was no kitchen I would have gone elsewhere as a lot of the bars and restaurants nearby are expensive. Besides that, there were a few other bits and pieces that needed addressing. There was aircon in the room, however it was set at 23°C most of the time, and that is a bit too hot really for room temp. There is zero ventilation in the bathrooms so you are basically suffocating every time someone has a shower. Two locks were not functioning correctly in the bathroom as well. The hostel has a bar attached to it, which as a bar itself is really nice, however it gives kind of weird vibes being so close in proximity. There is no communal space for the guests, so if you want to sit at a table and read, you'll have paying customers right next to you. The staff also seem to split their time as half bartending, half hostel admin which I also found a little weird. Probably a good place if you are staying short term - excellent location - but not a good long term stay.

Disliked: The beds were uncomfortable, no kitchen, no food allowed unless you buy it from an expensive restaurant on the first floor. Seems unfair.

Liked: Great and I mean GREAT location, friendly staff, very clean, comfy and even has a nice restaurant / bar and had a celebration fro Pride!
Disliked: Nothing to complain about!
