Fantastic place to stay near...

Liked: Myself and my teenage son stayed here for 2 nights after coming off a cruise which disembarked at fort lauderdale. We were off the cruise by just after 8 so were at the resort by 8:40. It was just a short taxi ride to the resort from the port costing about 12 dollars. The office was not open when we arrived but the caretaker said we could wait by the pool until the office opened at 9. At 9, we checked in however our room was not ready as check in was not technically until 4pm but we were able to use the pool including pool towels and our room was ready at 1:30. The pool area was lovely. It had ample Sun beds, was clean and had tables where you could eat at. There was a jacuzzi and separate showers and toilets and the pool area is just by the river which boats moored up so looks idyllic. The pool area got lots of sun and wasn’t too busy. We hired a 1 bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor. The apartment was beautifully clean and well equipped. It was helpful to have things like toilet rolls, shampoo, kitchen roll, dish soap, dish towels, coffee and dish washer tablets. We made a few meals here and everything worked well and we had everything we needed. Bonuses what we loved:-beautiful pool.-lovely location next to boats. -close to a lovely beach. -friendly staff. -pool towels. -luggage storage. -good WiFi. -tv including Netflix.
Disliked: -no late checkout of available (2 hours extra, checking out at 12 would have been good due to long haul night flight, even at an extra cost) -elevator is not working. -hooks in bathroom would be helpful.

Liked: The apartment was clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The apartment smelled strongly of cigarette smoke

Exceptional

Liked: A great little resort with its own pool and only a short stroll to a lovely beach and shops / restaurants. Great for parking as it is free and there is no need to reserve. Very modern and clean a d has everything you need! Beds are so comfy!
Disliked: No negatives.

Spacious, clean apartment with great...

Liked: Spacious apartment, full kitchen and enclosed balcony area, gorgeous pool area. Warm welcome when we arrived. Even let us check in early as the room was ready which was much appreciated. Close the beach and Mall. Loved it and could have stayed longer.
Disliked: A few noisy neighbours keep us up but that’s not in anyone’s control.

I will definitely return and...

Liked: Beautiful and very clean, great location. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen fully equipped.
Disliked: The only negative was the pool was too warm and not refreshing.
