Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Superior Duluth

$499 per night is outrageous...

Liked: Other than it was a hotel room, there was nothing to write about this place. Many of the necessary room amenities were broken and the price for the room was obscene.
Disliked: This was during the marathon weekend so I know prices are higher but $499 per night for this hotel was outrageous. The room smelled like sweat, the breakfast was gone by 8:30 and only half the lights in the room worked. The fridge in the room was broken and in spite of trying to adjust the thermostat it remained very cold. The location was pretty sketchy and I wouldn’t walk around after dark.

Disliked: The water in the shower is backward in room 401..so ran it for a while and it was still cold. Once figured out, the shower was great. Breakfast was ok. Could have had a bit more variety or more quantities of items.

Liked: The cleanliness and comfort of the room were excellent. The bed was great and the bathroom was roomy. The staff was super nice. The aesthetics were pleasant and the location was very good. We felt safe here.
Disliked: The breakfast wasn't the best and we weren't able to use the pool due to the overwhelming smell of chlorine. Also, there seemed to be a short in the electrical as the bedside lamp worked only part of the time (even after they changed the bulbs) and the electricity in the electricity went out altogether in the bathroom on the last day

Liked: The breakfast was very good. The room was clean and fresh.
Disliked: We were assigned a room that was not ready. It was still being cleaned. We did get a different room and it was very nice. The breakfast area was very small. Not enough room for people to sit and eat. Poorly designed for the flow of people. The coffee was stale. Very small pool. The taxes charged are deceptive and excessive.
