Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Superior Duluth

Liked: My reservation through Booking.com didn’t go through on the hotel’s end. Apparently for several reservations because once the hotel discovered the error they dug into the issue and discovered a slew of reservations that had “communicated” between Booking.com and Cobblestone. They called the day before and said they had not gotten the info (hadn’t integrated) from Booking.com and that, unfortunately, they were completely full, no available room. We had to scramble to find an alternative accommodation for a wedding we were going to. Very frustrating. The person from Cobblestone who called to inform me about this was VERY nice, apologetic, and helpful.

Liked: Liked that it had a restaurant in the hotel and many close by.
Disliked: Nothing

Very good

Liked: Clean and well-maintained
Disliked: Staff weren’t particularly welcoming or friendly; breakfast was unexceptional with limited selections

Comfortable, would stay again.

Liked: Beds comfortable, fridge and microwave were great. Nice location walking distance to restaurants. Right by bridge. Not a lot of traffic. Minutes to Duluth tourist areas.
Disliked: Had to ask for towels and washcloths every single day. The maids wouldn’t let me grab them off their carts. They’d make me walk to the front desk to get them. Discussed with front desk and was told they’d bring towels every day. That only happened the next day. We were there for about a week and it was an ongoing issue.

The facilities exceeded my expectations....

Liked: The cleanliness of the facility was very nice. The room was exceedingly clean. The pool area was clean. The entry area was nice, the parking was great. Beds and pillows were very comfortable.
Disliked: The noise of slamming doors with running back and forth kids above us until wee hours of the night. The air conditioning unit is loud and ran about every ten minutes all night long.

I wish I knew it...

Liked: Location/decor
Disliked: It’s a pet friendly place and I could tell by the smell of the room
