Excellent accommodation at a lovely...

Liked: Great accessible shower. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Easy access for those with mobility issues.
Disliked: Nothing.

OK for 1 night, expensive...

Liked: The apartment was very well presented and at a great location but not walking distance from the city centre. The bathroom was amazing with a great shower and a separate spa bath. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a nice balcony.
Disliked: The bedroom/living space was very small - it could fit only one lounge chair and one dining chair. A small glass table was wedged into an alcove very near the end of the bed and could not be moved (although there was no where to move it to). That meant it was impossible for two people to sit at it, even if there had been two suitable chairs. Kitchen facilities were minimal, a microwave and sink, a small range of crockery and eating utensils.The apartment was three stories up so carrying suitcases up three flights of stairs wasn't fun.

We loved being in that...

Liked: Loved the sunny balcony and kitchen and bathroom facilities and the bed and pillows were the most comfortable over our 17 day tour of the South Island.
Disliked: Loved being upstairs but it was extremely difficult to pull our luggage up all those stairs! ( two of our group had knee injuries) Perhaps staff should offer to do that for older travelers.

Best hosts

Liked: Staff / owners were beyond brilliant - ready to go out of their way when I thought I had a car issue at the start of my trip. Huge room with all the stuff to make it easy to arrange yourself for recovering from travelling and prepare for the next day.
Disliked: Moving my suitcase and numerous cases up a few flights of stairs - but know this would be the case.
