We like the place and...

Liked: It strikes you when you arrive that this Motel is managed by a family and their care factor is high. This is the second time we have stayed at Coastal Bay, and it was a good decision on our part. Both times the Motel was full or near full and this speaks to the location and quality of the venue.
Disliked: No exhaust fans in the bathroom - but this is most likely nit picking!

Superb

Roomy, clean and convenient.

Liked: Friendly receptionist, large clean rooms and comfortable beds. Newly renovated bathroom and aircon. Short walk to beach and hotel bistro.We arrived after dark to find staff had turned on both lights and aircon to warm the room before our arrival. Very thoughtful and welcoming.We stay here twice a year on our trips from Sydney to Brisbane.
Disliked: Parking can be limited and not always close to your room (if you arrive late). A small inconvenience.

Liked: Loved the bed, so soft and comfortable. Good size room.
Disliked: Bathroom was a little squishy
