Nestling in the bank of Cluny Hill this small family-run Victorian mansion offers award-winning food and overlooks the beautiful village of Forres between Aberdeen and Inverness. Built in 1865 and extended in 1910 Cluny Bank is a listed building at Historic Scotland. Carefully maintained it was a private home for many years and was only recently converted into a Bed and Breakfast. Today the hotel offers a unique blend of modern amenities and many of its fine original features. Cluny Bank offers a fine selection of 52 local whiskys in our bar - from Speyside the Highlands the Islands and Islay. Forres is located on the A96 within easy reach of both the Whiskey and Castle trail. As the Forres Golf Course is just around the corner Cluny Bank is also ideally located for golfers.

Fantastic value for money ,...

Liked: Gorgeous old house with private entrance and small garden to the rear.Host was very helpful. Very clean and comfortable room. Great breakfast delivered to my room.

BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN AND LUXURIOUS PROPERTY...

Liked: BEAUTIFUL BUILDING IN A LOVELY QUIET ROAD SURROUNED BY WOODS. THE HOST WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND. CAN'T COMPLEMENT THIS PLACE ENOUGH. YOU WILL NOT REGRET STAYING HERE. AND HER SELECTION OF WHISKEY IS WORTH TRYING TOO

We had a very comfortable...

Liked: Breakfast was perfectly cooked and delicious.The location of the hotel was perfect for us visiting friends close by.We enjoyed a drink by the fire in the cosy bar.
Disliked: Perhaps having to make your own toast at breakfast was a slight inconvenience especially when a guest burns it.

Liked: Friendly warm welcome in a lovingly restored old building. Excellently located for Speyside Whisky tours or for a quiet get away. Very tasty Breakfast! Service above and beyond. Thank you.
