Overall, I'd rate this as the best bet in downtown Chicago. Location is excellent, rates are very reasonable, and service impeccable. The rooms are not huge but very well appointed, clean, modern, and well maintained. Bravo!

Nice hotel with neat rooms....

Liked: The location is great.Rooms are nice, beds are comfy. What I did not expect: There was a microwave as well as a fridge in my room.
Disliked: Due to the location, and the single layer windows, it is really noise at night.Had troubles with sleeping for the whole duration of the stay.

Great location, amazing service, and...

Liked: The service was excellent—especially the receptionist who went above and beyond. I saw him run into busy Chicago traffic to find a taxi for a guest and even helped with their luggage. He was so kind and welcoming, and made you feel genuinely happy when you arrived. I don’t remember his name, but he also speaks Spanish.
Disliked: Nothing major to complain about—overall a great experience.

Comfortable, lots to see in...

Liked: Location and the historical building.
Disliked: The room decor is very outdated and look a bit worn around the edges. My room was nice but slightly shabby for the price. Cable selections felt outdated. The AC ran a little damp. But the major issue was only one elevator was in service to the higher floors for most of my stay. I resorted to taking the stars despite being on the 17th floor. It was better than waiting 10-15 mins for a ride down or up. Considering the quality of the adjoining hotels, Club Quarters could use with decor and equipment updates.

Great historic location in the...

Liked: Staff in the front office were welcoming, kind & helpful. I liked being able to meet family members in the Lounge on the 2nd floor. Tea/coffee/expresso available at any time :) Also, facilities available for doing own laundry.
Disliked: Beds were short for tall people (which didn’t affect us bc we are shorties;). Rooms were narrow/fairly small. No outdoor patio. No yoga room.It would be nice if there were organic decaf herbal tea options such as peppermint & lemon/ginger teas. When doing laundry I had trouble getting the dryer to start so I had to call for help :/ The lady did it the same way that I did but instead of touching the start button as it did to start the washer, she held it for 3 seconds & voilá, it worked.
