Club Quarters Hotel Wacker at Michigan

Overall, I'd rate this as the best bet in downtown Chicago. Location is excellent, rates are very reasonable, and service impeccable. The rooms are not huge but very well appointed, clean, modern, and well maintained. Bravo!

Liked: Great value for an exceptional location. Located in the center of it all and along the riverfront for walking access to all of the restaurants bars and other attractions.
Disliked: The only issue we had was the wait for the elevator on the higher floors. Our stay was changed to a lower floor and it was wonderful.

Small, but convenient room for...

Liked: The location was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean. I was very thankful that there were rooms available on such a short notice. This would be a good place to stay if you only needed a room to sleep in and not spend a lot of time in.
Disliked: There was only one working elevator for 38 floors. The only parking available was a public parking garage that was about a 10 minute walk away for $30 a day, and that was with ticket validation. I didn't see anywhere on the booking site where that would be the case. Could have been an oversight on my part, though. The room was small, very small, and outdated. And if you are running late because you are stuck in traffic, be sure to call the hotel and let them know otherwise they will cancel the reservation.

Liked: I rarely review my stays but I had to review this one. The staff were AMAZING, Leo had changed my room from double to twin with the breathtaking view loop bridge.Location is something else for that money it's probably the most value for money you may get for the cityI will DEFINITELY come back again.
